Myles Ahead is an original creation based on Freddie Myles’ passion to bring life changing fitness to individuals of all levels. Your program will be unique and designed according to your goals. You will work at your own pace, just as you would with a personal trainer. Having a personal trainer is the best way to achieve short and long-term fitness goals. At Myles Ahead, personalized training is made affordable. We operate in a group setting, so the cost is shared.
At Myles Ahead you will find a beautiful facility fully equipped for free-weight training, and at the height if this, Olympic weightlifting. There is no other method of training that will provide you with a complete array of fitness qualities, most of which you simply cannot get anywhere else. Myles Ahead training will take your body through the movements your muscles and joints are meant to perform. Full range of motion is the goal and the practice. “If you don’t use it, you lose it,” is true (even for our youth!). If you use it and are able to do so dynamically and with added weight, well, then you really have something. Full body exercises that incorporate power and speed have been the only ones shown to results in healthier, leaner, biologically younger bodies.

Freddie Myles has been dedicated to fitness and his clients since he opened Myles Ahead Fitness in 2005. He is passionate about giving each client individual attention and crafting unique fitness programs. He treats his product as an art while using the most up-to-date peer reviewed science as a basis for his programming. His unique perspective and programming come from a well-rounded history as an enthusiastic soccer and track coach, a dedicated student of fitness methodology, an honors graduate of Exercise Biology from UC Davis, a caring physical therapy assistant at Avista Hospital in Colorado, and dedicated student of Mel Siff, PhD and the 2003 coaches at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
In 2005 Freddie Myles returned to Sonoma County to open Myles Ahead Fitness in Rohnert Park. From here he as helped thousands to achieve a wide range of fitness goals. He has helped clients earn athletic scholarship by giving them and edge with specific qualities of fitness, such as speed, power and strength. Freddie created his Olympic Weightlifting team in 2006 and he has become a true master of this sport. He has numerous national champions, international-level weightlifters, American record holders, and world record holders. Freddie is a USA Weightlifting Level 4 Coach. After all this, Freddie, true to this passion, earned his masters in Applied Exercise Science in August 2020. When you meet him, he might strike you as a mild mannered and soft-spoken, but don't be fooled, inspiration is part of the product. At Myles Ahead you will quickly find yourself doing things you never thought possible.
